gNappies Reusable/Cloth and Biodegradable Hybrid Nappies

gNappies, founded by an Australian couple, markets both plastic-free biodegradable nappies and reusable cloth nappies. gNappies are now available in the UK and the US (called "gDiapers" in the US). gNappies are so-called "hybrid" nappies - each nappy consists of a nappy cover (called "gPants") and an insert. Inserts can be either disposable 100% biodegradable "gRefills", or washable "gCloth". Both inserts fit easily in all gPants. gNappies are plastic-free, elemental chlorine free, latex free, and perfume free.
Nappy covers (little gPants):
The nappy covers are colourful, machine washable, soft cotton outer nappy covers made of breathable material, just like sports clothing. Each pair of little gPants comes with a removable little gPant pouch which ensures less washing, and faster and easier changes. 6-packs of little gPant pouches are sold separately so that you can buy them as you need them. Little gPants have gBreathe waterproof technology which allows delicate skin to breathe. gPants come in different colours and feature:
- Soft velcro tabs close around the back. Multiple sizes from tiny newborn to large toddler offer a cute trim fit without the bulk;
- Are 92% cotton, 8% spandex, no elemental chlorine, no perfumes and no latex;
- Come in sizes small, medium and large. For newborns, gNappies offers "tiny gPants".
Biodegradable nappies (gRefills):
gNappies biodegradable gRefills are made of sustainably farmed wood fluff pulp, with sodium polyacrylate (SAP) for absorbency, and cellulose rayon and are plastic free. gRefills come in packs of 40 (small) and 32 (medium/large).
Cloth nappy inserts (gCloth):
gCloth is a washable, reusable, a trim-fitting, absorbent and earth-friendly cloth nappy insert. gCloth fits well in breathable little gPants. No folding necessary with gCloth inserts - they provide the same trim fit as biodegradable gRefills without giving up the absorbency. gCloth wicks and absorbs naturally - contains four layers of soft microfleece and hemp/cotton.

REUSABLE NAPPIES
Reusable nappies, also known as real, washable or cloth nappies are a good alternative to "Disposable" nappies.
Reusable nappies can be made from natural fibers, manmade materials, or a combination of both. They are often made from industrial cotton which may be bleached white or left the fiber’s natural colour.
